Hello,
After 35 years I can finally say it -my parents are alcoholics. Yes I grew up in a family where both my Mum and Dad both drank. For a long time this was the secret I had to guard with my life and no matter hoe much it hurt I had to keep it safe.
This will be a long and hard road so please bare with me.
As I said I am 35 and a Mother myself I am seeing life in a different way now and finally talking about it, finally trying to make sense of my life and my emotions.
I am creating this blog from a selfish place but with the hope that if I could help at least one person than my life and all the suffering was not in wain.
